Like it that the message is delivered clearly{drills} and still stays light hearted… not sure it’s deliberate…..or just the personality of Mr. Fight dad.

Hubud Seminar
I got this course as part of a deal with another course by Guro Bob Breen on hubud. Hubud is what hooked me on the Filipino Martial Arts more than anything and I've been fortunate to see different versions of it from a variety of FMA styles and instructors.
The Hubud training from Guro Breen is heady stuff. it's massive. Lot's to consider and you need more than one sitting at each video to even begin to digest it. In some ways it's one of the most in depth look at Hubud in particular and sensitivity drills for combat in particular that I've seen to date.
Harry's addition is worth watching as well. First, he teaches an arm drag that he later incorporates into hubud. Combatively, he shows how you can use an arm drag against an opponent trying to initiate an attack by off balancing you with a straight push.
Next, he shows what he calls a foreign exchange slap. Not sure I want to train in the UK if that's how they treat foreign students. This movement, a chop, he translates into what can be a slap to the ear or a slap into a tie up to the back of the head/neck.
Harry then takes these movements, the slap is done as a chop which is the 4th movement in a standard form of hubud found in many FMA styles. From this flow the partners take turns either trapping the elbow and hitting or doing the arm drag.
Each clip continues from and adds on to the last. Harry also shows how you can use the arm drag to manipulate your opponent in a couple of different ways which I like. You'll have to watch it to find out what I mean.
It's a good video worth watching giving a fun way to practise hubud with some practical applications.

Hubud Seminar is fantastic!
the straight forward approach to this drill was well explained and adding the pressure to it was a fun example of how it translates from dead drill to live play!

Modern hubud master course
Harry of fightdad is a modern hubud master, and a modern FMA teacher, his easy to follow steps and relaxed mannerisms helps you to understand not just the techniques but the application and making it your own freedom of expression, Harry is not a traditional 'kill, mame, destroy' tuhon like those of old, he has learnt to kill with kindness and put his students learning in from of his ego, one day I hope to train with him in person but until that is possible I will continue to enjoy and promote his work and fight dad, only 1 question with all those FMA students in one place, how did that chicken survive? Lol salamat po

Advanced simplicity.
The way Harry set up the beginner entry for learning the framework of the Hubbud drill, was really easy to understand.
I'm not a stranger to the Hubbud drill, but still this class have given me value in form of new ways to set up the drill from start.
*Easy explanations
*Great demonstrations
*Good camera positions
Great instructional tutorial!

Go with the flow
Great selection of live videos, I love that they are 3 to 4 mins long this gives you time to remember what you are learning without having to rewind or pause.
I will be trying these out on a partner in my next class.
Thank you Harry :)
